Why did you choose me to work with?

You were recommended to me  and when I met you, I just remember thinking, oh my goodness, this is someone who really wants to get things out of the door, really wants to tick things off the list, really has the sort of can-do attitude, really seems to celebrate the idea of doing a really good job, has really good ethics, has a really good heart. I love all the stuff that you do for Norfolk and for business.

But I guess I really liked you and I thought you sounded like you really cared about your business and about doing a good job.

What do you love about working with me?

I love your enthusiasm, your willingness to really try and be as proactive and helpful to me as you can be.

I know I’m quite an impediment to that because I’m so hard to pin things down. I just really like you as a person. I think you’ve got a really lovely aura and manner about you. You strike me as unbelievably kind and personable, but that wouldn’t be enough for me. It makes a huge difference, but I can see you are really committed to doing a good job, you do a good job and you take the initiative.

How has having me by your side changed things for you or your business in the year?

It’s made me feel much less alone. It’s made me feel more hopeful that I can grow the business without burning out. And I just really love having somebody who has my back and wants to help me. I feel seen by you and I feel you see people. I think that’s a really lovely quality.

As I’ve gotten to know you, you don’t have a judgmental bone in your body, so I love that too. You’ve been really great. And I’m just so glad that I met you.
